Tim Ramberg is on the podcast this week to talk to us about the shooting culture in the Pacific Northwest. We also talk about the match that he runs, how he got into 3-Gun via USPSA and why he made the switch.
We recorded this podcast after day one of Triggrcon (which was fantastic) and Adam Maxwell (AMax) joins in as co-host. We had a great conversation with Tim and learned a lot about the practical shooting scene in the PNW and about Tim himself.
Plus! We dream of the perfect match and discuss things that can die in the shooting sports...
The Tactical Games have seen incredible growth since their first event in 2018. Jared Halbert is a fitness enthusiast and 3-Gunner that has embraced the event and is seeing a lot of success.
Coming off of two Elite Division victories and a second place finish in his most recent competition, Jared stops by the studio to talk about the games. We get deep into the training, strategy and skills required to compete at various levels in the games.
Like many of us, Jared has faced adversity in his life and near the end of the podcast he shares his story of triumph after an accident that left him severely injured.
Pete Rensing took over the Match Director duties of the 2019 Magpul Wyoming Governor's Match presented by Vortex Optics and is on the show this week to give us a preview of what those of us shooting it can expect from the match. We had a surprise guest co-host for this one as Adam Maxwell stopped by to hang with us.
If you aren't shooting the match you should still check this one out because we get deep into Pete's Design philosophy when it comes to matches and talk about the structure of USSL specifically the United Multigun League. We discuss the level 1-4 requirements for matches, the majors and regionals that it currently supports and Pete's plans for the future of USSL.
The future looks bright for the United Shooting Sports Leagues!
