Dave Smith aka "Shakey Dave" aka "Parkinson Shooter" is on the podcast this week talking about his #guntherapy as a method to mitigate the tremors associated with Parkinson's disease.
Dave and I got partnered up to shoot the DC Project Team Match and we had a blast. Over the three days of walkthrough and shooting I got to know Dave and see how picking up a gun would calm him and allow him to hit targets with precision.
In this podcast Dave talks about the science behind Gun Therapy and how he uses it daily to manage Parkinson's.
Thanks for listening! Thank you Dave for being an awesome partner and a great guest on the podcast!
We've all been there. You come off of a match and you're unhappy with your finish. What are you going to do to get yourself right for the next match?
Adam Riser is back on the show to discuss how to assess your performance with the digital tools that most people have in their pocket. Then he outlines how to take that assessment and turn it into an action plan that you can take to practice sessions.
Adam's methods clearly work because he took a disappointing finish early in the season, analyzed his performance and turned it into a Tac-Ops Division Win at the High Desert 3-Gun Championship.
Thanks for listening! Thank you to Adam for being such a great guest on the show and helping us improve!
Josh Froelich dropped a bombshell in a recent episode of his podcast "Addicted"when he said that he was going to shift his focus for the remainder of the year from 3-Gun to PCC.
Coming off of a season where he focused mainly on shotgun for the 2018 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot and PCC seemingly for the USPSA "credits" to go to the World Shoot, Josh recommitted himself to the pursuit of 3-Gun after bringing home the Shotgun World Champion title.
As you can imagine, his announcement was quite a surprise to most people paying attention to the sport so I had him on the podcast to discuss his reasoning and to talk through his thought process.
Thanks for listening! Thank you to Josh for coming on the show to discuss his future plans!
